Technical guide 11

Brake Pads, Forged Calipers and Complete Kits

Rotors can be supplied separately, but pad shape, friction specification and caliper geometry must match the approved system. Optional 6-piston or 10-piston forged calipers are application dependent rather than universally interchangeable.

01

Matched carbon-ceramic brake pads

Pad outline, thickness and approved compound must correspond with the confirmed caliper and rotor construction. Pads can be supplied separately after verification.

02

Optional forged calipers

Six-piston and ten-piston configurations may be available where mounting, hydraulic requirements and wheel clearance are approved.

03

Complete brake-kit schedule

A complete kit can include rotors, ceramic pads, braided lines, high-temperature fluid and hardware. Only items listed in the final quotation are included.

Frequently asked questions

Is compatibility confirmed by model name alone?+

No. Exact diameter, thickness, offset, hub geometry, caliper clearance, wheel clearance and rear EPB compatibility require verification.

Can components be supplied separately?+

Yes. Rotors, matched pads and approved calipers can be quoted separately when the existing brake configuration is confirmed.

Is professional installation required?+

Yes. A qualified brake technician should complete installation, fluid work, torque procedures, bedding and final inspection.
