Frequently Asked Questions

Are all OWNSILENT parts custom made?

All OWNSILENT-manufactured parts are custom made to your approved vehicle details, specification and finish. We do not offer ready-made stock for immediate dispatch. Genuine and used parts are sourced to order from third-party suppliers; they are not manufactured by OWNSILENT. The part number, compatibility, condition and included components must be confirmed in writing before you approve sourcing.

Are any parts ready made or ready to ship?

Custom manufacturing or third-party sourcing takes place before dispatch. Production and sourcing lead times are separate from shipping transit estimates and depend on the approved order. A catalogue listing or displayed price does not mean a part is held in stock or ready to ship.

Can I cancel, return or exchange my order?

All custom-made orders and all genuine or used parts sourced to order are final sale. We do not offer voluntary cancellations, returns, refunds or exchanges for a change of mind, a change of vehicle or project, or an incorrect specification supplied and approved by the customer. There is no voluntary cancellation grace period. These restrictions do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Incorrect, misdescribed, damaged or defective goods are reviewed separately under the Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

Can genuine or used parts be returned or refunded?

They are sourced to your order and are final sale for change of mind. Confirm the part number, condition, disclosed wear and included components before approving sourcing. These restrictions do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Incorrect, misdescribed, damaged or defective goods are reviewed separately under the Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

What must I approve before production or sourcing?

Review and approve the vehicle details, part number where applicable, dimensions, finish, quantity, included components and any disclosed condition or wear before production or sourcing is authorized. Ask us to clarify anything uncertain before ordering.

How long does delivery take?

Custom manufacturing or third-party sourcing takes place before dispatch. Production and sourcing lead times are separate from shipping transit estimates and depend on the approved order. A catalogue listing or displayed price does not mean a part is held in stock or ready to ship. Air cargo: approximately 5–15 days after dispatch. Sea cargo: approximately 18–60 days after dispatch. Transit estimates depend on route, customs and carrier conditions.

Is shipping insurance included?

Standard shipping charges exclude cargo insurance unless the written order expressly includes it. Insurance may be quoted separately where available. The selected shipping charge is shown before payment; destination import charges are separate unless agreed otherwise.

How do I track my order?

Before dispatch, email sales@ownsilent.international with your order number for a manufacturing or sourcing update. After dispatch, we provide the available carrier details and tracking number, airway bill, bill of lading or shipment reference.

What if a part arrives damaged, incorrect or defective?

Inspect the shipment on arrival and report visible transit damage within 24 hours where possible. Keep the packaging and labels, photograph the damage and, where possible, record a continuous unboxing video. Missing video or a later report does not automatically remove rights under applicable law; defects that become apparent later should be reported promptly after discovery. Contact sales@ownsilent.international with the order number and relevant evidence. Accepted claims may receive repair, replacement or an appropriate refund under applicable law.

What warranty applies?

Any voluntary warranty and its duration must be confirmed in writing before approval. Genuine and used parts do not automatically carry a transferable manufacturer warranty. Mandatory consumer rights are preserved.

Who should install my parts?

Use an appropriately qualified workshop. Confirm the approved vehicle specification and trial-fit where safe before permanent work. Stop installation and contact OWNSILENT if a compatibility concern appears.

What happens after payment?

Complete identity and vehicle verification, then review your written specification and any sourced-part condition in My Orders. Production or sourcing requires your approval and our verification. A paid order awaiting approval is not ready to dispatch. If we cannot fulfil the agreed order, we will explain the position and confirm the appropriate refund or reversal.
